Pupil Voice
We value the view of our pupils and hold regular chats with groups of pupils from Year 1 – Year 6 to hear what they think about each subject.
We have recently obtained pupil voice for Design and Technology.
32 out of the 49 pupils said that DT is one of their favourite subjects.
All the pupils were able to identify a range of tools and equipment that they have used in weekly DT lessons, for example, in Years 1 and 2, the pupils knew they had used a needle for sewing and a chopping knife and board for when they made smoothies. In Years 3 and 4, the pupils knew they had used card, wood, plastic, foam, fabric, food and electrical components during DT lessons. In Years 5 and 6 the pupils knew they had used scissors, needles, saws, chopping knives, ovens, peelers and glue guns.
What do you like about DT lessons?
